I ordered this vase and two others from luxury lane as a christmas gift for my mother. I made the mistake of not opening them before they were wrapped. When my mother opened them christmas morning i was schocked at how different the vases looked compared to the pictures. They are heavy, no mistake about that... but they are plain ugly. The colors are much darker than shown here. My mother decided to return them... they arrived on the 5th of January 2010... i didn't receive the refun until 02/01/2010. I called their "customer service" five times and was told that they are only contractors and there is nothing they can do about it. DO NOT ORDER THESE.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for an older relative who has 2 of everything already. It wasn't quite as big/tall as I was expecting - although it was exactly the dimensions listed. (Turns out you really do have to read that stuff...) However, it was VERY well made and extremely heavy. The relatives were impressed! I would order again for a gift.

I went on-line to find an Aseda Vase, which I did find 2. Then I get a pop-up showing this vase.
If you like the picture, wait until you see it.
I dont know how they do this. This is a piece of art.
