Nice looking but smaller compartments than I thought Oct 09, 2010
By Katie Steiman First of all, the box is incredibly heavy. If you have to get it up any stairs, you will need help.
I've seen many reviews complaining about the directions. They are pretty good except one page, which is pretty confusing, and I'm quite good at these things. I ended up having to undo cams and switch panel placement, but other than that it is fairly easy to assemble, although it is tricky getting the hampers in place. Once the unit is complete there are still some gaps, but most of them are hidden.
My main complaint is that the hampers themselves are quite a bit smaller than I imagined. They are large enough to fit a set of queen sized sheets, 2 extra pillow cases, and a bath towel into, but no more than that. I suppose that is decent enough, but I pictured each one holding an oversized load of laundry, and they do not.
Also, the Velcro liners don't have any handles, so if the compartment is very full, it can be difficult to get them out and carry the laundry to the machine. Beware that the hampers automatically tilt back into the unit, which is ok, except that you can't leave them tilted out and put several items in one after the other. It did get my hand once.
Overall is is very attractive, and is a good space saver, but don't expect to replace three full-sized laundry hampers with this unit.

Don't Buy!! Jan 17, 2011
By Anne Although the measurements state 17" wide, the actual inside usable width is only 11". Definitely not worth the $119.00. It may work well in a child's room, but not as a family laundry hamper.

Amazing hamper! Jan 11, 2007
By J. White I recently moved and didn't have a space in my laundry area for a hamper. So, I had to find an alternative. This hamper is not just a hamper, but a beautiful piece of furniture! It is in the bedrooms hallway and easy for all to use. The size of the "drawers" are bigger and more functional than I was expecting. The cloth bags with velcro make it really easy to pull out the laundry and take it to the laundry area. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Disappointed. Not worth the money Jan 20, 2011
By Annalise The bins in this hamper at too small to use as a hamper for more than one person. Each been holds 1/4 - 1/3 of a load of laundry. Also there are no air holes for ventilation. I regret buying this item.

Sleek, Simple, Attractive Aug 15, 2011
By Evergreen We were very pleased with this hamper. It looks very nice and is heavier than we thought it would be; a real piece of furniture. The finish is smooth, substantial, and nicely applied. The bin size is just right for the two of us and about 5 days of dirty clothes; it is not much smaller than our old wicker hamper. It comes with a removable white cotton liner which fastens inside the bin easily with Velcro tabs. The liner fabric isn't very heavy but should serve its purpose. I found the knob a bit small and I may replace it later with something easier to grip. During assembly, the bin didn't seat properly at first, but after a couple tries, it slipped into place and opens smoothly and closes plumb. We'd recommend this hamper if you are looking for a wicker alternative and it is not expected to hold a mountain of clothes.
