 good looking candles but........ Jun 27, 2010

I purcharse 3 of these flameless candles, two of the candles were chipped, I keep them because I thought will be too expensive to retur them back, the firts week all 3 of them work ok, I put on the times and still them look very nice in the dark, a week after one of them the one was not chipped stop working, so even when I like them how nice and real they look I will not order anymore of them.

The candles are a good price, and I ordered two: one arrived chipped around the bottom and the other cracked up one side. Since I was using them inside glass lanterns on the patio for a party, I decided to keep them, though my first inclination was to return them for a refund. They have a bright, flickering light, but the flicker is too regular and fast to seem real.

It looks quite cheap, but the item does have a timer and comes on every evening. Very nice for a bedroom or a darkened room as a night light.

I bought two sets of the Remote Controlled Gerson Flameless Candles for glass votives that are very difficult to reach. This is a great product idea, but unfortunately a big money pit. After speaking with the Owner of The Gerson Company, it was verified that the remote controlled candles never shut off, even when not lit; which of course runs through batteries very quickly. The Gerson Company sent me two of the Candles with Timers as a replacement. Since I needed a total of five, I purchased three more. Well, after about a month, one of the candles stopped working due to leakage of battery acid from the batteries that came with the product. I am a long time purchaser at Amazon, this is the first Review I have ever written. I am very sorry I purchased these candles.

I have purchased several of these Gerson Everlasting Glow Candles they are perfect; they have a timer you just turn them on and they stay on for approx 6 hours and then they turn off; and come back on at the same time that you set them at...you don't need to turn them on and off it is all done automatically, they are perfect, they do have the feature that you can turn them on & off, but I set mine to timmer and it takes care of it's self...the fuss, I love these I think I own at least a dozen of these great flameless candles. I hope you to can enjoy them as I do.
