I bought these some time ago but due to other priorities (including remodeling the bathroom they are installed in!) I just got them installed tonight. The hooks are really nice and make a great addition to a contemporary bathroom. The mounting is easy and it comes with heavy duty (plastic) anchors that have wings that open to grip the other side of the wall.
For the price, you cannot beat these. They are metal and have a nice solid feel to them. I chose to use them to hang robes in my bathroom and opted for the Gatco dual towel rack for the towels. You could use these for towels as well but I find that towels dry quicker when hung "flat" so to speak.
If you like this design (I got the satin nickel) these are for you. The color perfectly matches my Kohler satin nickel shower handles which is a true satin nickel as opposed to my Pegasus sink faucet which has a yellowish tinge - should prob replace that ;)
Shipping was also fast so bottom line great product!
ps: I mounted the hooks at 66" from the floor. That seems to be what the Internet deems as the "standard" height. Works well.

I'm in the home remodeling industry, so I deal with all sorts of home related items. These hooks are surprisingly robust, I was very happy with the fit and finish of them, they look very quality. I wouldn't expect any issues with these when used as designed.

Not a lot to say about this. It looks nice on the wall and seems to be constructed well. Will look nice in any transitional or modern type bathroom setting.

These are handsome, well engineered hooks. The chrome finish is flawless and heavy-duty. Once the inner bracket is properly installed, the hook (as shown) sits tight and flat against the wall. I installed one and immediately ordered another. After months of daily use, holding heavy weight terry bathrobes or damp towels, they remain securely in place. I suspect the same holds true for this complete line of Gatco products.
Instructions for installation are simple and straightforward. Installation took some time, because I installed these into walls of plaster and lathe with appropriate anchors (bought separately) and plumber's epoxy. Most users, however, will probably install them into plaster board, and the sturdy anchors that are supplied with the hooks will simplify installation and securely hold the mounting bracket. The screws (supplied) for attaching the mounting bracket are long enough to go through plaster board and into studs, which would eliminate the need for anchors altogether.
