Looks Great but Loosens Up Dec 21, 2009
By GM Good looking Euro style holder for the money. Only issue is a matter of physics - it's a mono-point mount and the rod holder acts as a lever arm so it's easy to loosen up on the mounting. I've tightened allenhead setscrew several times. Fortunately it's for a lightly used bathroom - definitely not for a kid's bath.

Form over function. Jan 12, 2011
By Chris Schmidt It's fairly easy to tilt the arm out of level especially if you don't find a stud to attach to. The plastic drywall anchors have a lip which doesn't allow the back of the holder to sit flush on the wall (so friction won't be helping you out). The resulting gap makes the holder wobble and easily tilt out of level. I am planning to cut off the dry anchor lip with a straight razor (while in place) and see if it will sit flush and whether that helps the other issue. Cutting off the raised lip works great. It's a bit tricky to do and you might need a bit of touch up paint. Make sure you use a sharp razor...a decent amount of force is needed. Afterwards, the holder sits flush and friction helps the rotation. On second thought a sharp chisel would probably work better to do the cutting.
Looks great, hardware is less than sturdy Mar 16, 2012

I love the look and the quality of the material, except for the way the back plate connects. The single alan screw not only loosens, but does not fit very snugly against the cheaper quality back plate. Should be mounted to a stud, or a very sturdy quality anchor. Even mounted to a stud it still loosens up a little and wiggles.
Make sure to consider the direction it is mounted (forward or backward) and how far forward or back of reach it is. This way a person will naturally pull in the correct direction and not end up with a roll on the floor.
Just what we were looking for! Jan 29, 2012
By William R DeLauder We needed a chrome toilet tissue dispenser for a guest bathroom and this met our needs perfectly. Easy to install and matches towel rack. Happy!
Great contemporary bath hardware Jan 11, 2012

Not a lot to say about this. It looks nice on the wall and seems to be constructed well. Will look nice in any transitional or modern type bathroom setting.
