My favorite blend for a clean scent Jun 12, 2009
By Jessica Hanselman I love this candle. It has a real purifying scent to it without being overpowering. It has no toxins in it and uses a cotton wick. I gave several to a woman battling cancer to help her body relax and heal itself. I didn't want her using anything with petrochemicals or other nasties in it. I like to burn this one on my bedroom dresser, because that room gets less air flow and can sometimes feel "blah" and stagnant. This really freshens things up. It looks little in its little tin, but it burns a long time. The tin is handy to put little things in later when the candle is all used up. (The tin also makes it handy for travel and when you have a baby like mine who is a menace to all glass containers everywhere.)

Not as aromatic as I expected Nov 07, 2011
By bristolboard This Eucalyptus Candle was not as aromatic as I expected. Candle did not even last a few days. The wick burns out pretty quickly. I was not satisfied with this purchase.

Great candle concept, lackluster execution Nov 30, 2011
By Abraham B My family buys easily at least $60 worth of candles a month to brighten our gray Pacific Northwest home during the long fall/winter months. We were concerned over what our long and frequent candle burning was putting into our air, so we've changed to all-natural aromatherapy candles. We did some research on Plantlife and, despite the cost per ounce being well above the limit we keep to, purchased a 3 oz tin of the eucalyptus-peppermint scent to test out the candle brand. We'd just bought a bulk shipment of another brand--eucalyptus--that was obviously artificially scented and absolutely putrid, so we looked forward to the Plantlife product. Alas, we're just as disappointed, but for another reason. We lit the candle in our smallest room for three hours and could smell nothing at all. The only reason we paid as much as we did for a tiny tin of all natural candle product was our anticipation of a natural but strong minty scent. We regularly buy an all natural plant wax candle (glass jar, 16 oz) with pure cotton wicks at a cost of less than one dollar per ounce--and it burns perfectly--never any wasted wax. So finding a 3-5 millimeter unburned ring of wax around the three-hour burned core of this tiny tin only deepened our disappointment. Kudos to Plantlife for adding another cruelty-free, relatively environmentally benign product to the candle line; supporting such a company is the only saving grace for my family in this purchase experience. But there are far, far better choices (complete burning, natural but more potent scent) out there for far less money. We'll be sticking to them from now on.

long burn time, nice scent Apr 15, 2009
By Karen Overstreet I am not normally a candle person. Got this for emergency use and felt it would be a nice scent for that purpose, when everybody is a bit down. Used it during a recent weather scare and was pleasantly surprised how well this one worked. Nice bright light and a long burn life. After reading up on it, I found it was also good for the environment, with all natural ingredients.
Looking forward to getting more and giving candles a chance. :)

Waste Of Money Jan 20, 2010
By B. Hensley I love eucalyptus and this candle smells nothing like it. It has an unnatural and unclean smell, something akin to burning trash. If you like the clean smell of eucalyptus, keep searching because this isn't the candle for you.
