Decorative mirror, not! Aug 29, 2010
By Yuckpuppy This mirror looks much prettier in the picture than it actually is! Much smaller, poor quality, very cheap looking. I never even took it out of the box. It leas 10" narrower than description stated. Very shabby, not chic

Dimensions and color wrong Jul 10, 2009
By Kinsey (Jane) This mirror has a certain charm but it has issues. It is much smaller than the dimensions shown. Closed it is 23 x 15, not 23 x 45! The color is a dove grey, not white. Since I wanted a white frame on the mirror, I had to give it 2 coats of white paint. The wood is very rough. One positive -- Shipping was overnight -- great service!

Charming Dec 12, 2008

This is a nice wooden window. The louvered doors are dovetailed. This is not the quality you might see in a historic home, heavy and one-of-a-kind. By modern standards of quality, it is nice. By "distressed" they mean they put on a rough coat of paint, then hit it with a little sandpaper. I am not sure it is worth the $50, but it is worth having. I plan to put it in my daughters' room.

Not what I expected at all... Feb 02, 2012
By Sarah I WISH I would have read the other reviews!! While this does look nice, as other reviewers have said...
1) This mirror is not white...it's more of a cream. 2) It is 23x15 NOT 23x45.
If I had actually read other reviews and realized that, there is no way I would have paid $40 for this. The mirror slid out the top making the back pop off a little bit. It's nothing we can't live with though. The distressing isn't very nice either. I'm just disappointed over all.

Mirror, mirror Jul 21, 2010
By organizedmama This mirror has a lovely design and works well in our outdoor shower's dressing room. Unfortunately the white paint is closer to a pale gray and the distressed look seems to have been accomplished by running a rough piece of sandpaper in a straight line down the painted surface. There was still sanding dust on the wood when it arrived. After the summer is over, I plan to repaint it in true white. We've had little rain so I can't say how well it holds up outdoors but so far, so good. It does have charm, better than a simple mirror.
