Get What You Pay For Oct 17, 2010

The product description: white, and it is most assuredly white; wall mirror, and yep, it is a wall mirror; but "elegant", not so much. In person, it's more like "cheap attempt at chic". Even if one can get passed the tacky, early-carnival style, once on the wall the item losses all possible poor-taste-excuses ... no matter what you do, no matter where you line up the screw, and no matter the amount of museum putty you put on the back of the thing, the mirror is warped and, even on a round planet, it is never going to hang flat on the wall.
Of course, it is not a very expensive mirror, so, I guess the old adage is true ... You do get what you pay for ... And I paid a lot for shipping (almost as much as for the mirror) so I can happily report it made it here on time and without damage. In all fairness, I admit, I did not contact seller, primarily because online shopping has taught me there is a very high cost associated with that sort of time and effort expenditure.
In short, despite the fee, considering it made it here on time and without damage, it was probably worth the delivery charge, but definitely NOT the cost of return. So I am not going to throw good money after bad. Instead, I took it down, patched the hole in the wall, and tagged the mirror, at a loss, for my next garage sale.

hi, every one..i bought it last week..when the "cute" mirror came. I thought I would have loved it. Nevertheless I was very sad..It was not good for me. I'm 23 years old, I think this mirror is for children.

It's a pretty mirror, but it's not very big at all! I should have paid more attention to the listed dimensions, but in the pictures, it looked bigger. I wouldn't buy another one!

The mirror would be great if it was about 2 inches wider. Even the skinniest person wouldn't be able to see shoulder to shoulder.

1st mirror arrived with frame unglued on all 4 corners; a free replacement mirror was sent arriving with mirror detached from frame
(which i was able to correct). it's the old story: you get what you pay for. i have found beautiful mirrors at home goods for about
$30.00, so i guess i'll continue to shop there; i can see what i'm getting. thank you.
