4Cute, but NOT "large"  Jun 26, 2009
By K. Huff "thebigtomato"
This toy box is every bit as cute as it looks in the picture. It's bright and fun and my son loves it instantly. My only complaint is that when I unfolded it, I thought I had mistakenly ordered the medium size. The dimensions are correct, but if you're like me you don't actually look at a ruler to determine the size. I thought large meant large and the pic of the little girl sitting beside it was what I used for judging the size. That must be a small little girl is all I have to say. I still think it was a worthwhile purchase, but it isn't going to hold anywhere near as many toys as I had hoped.

3Nice to look at, but not durable enough for the $$$  Feb 08, 2011
By Kriss
Like I wrote on my other review of the medium ones: oh, how I wanted to love these fabric bins! The colors are whimsical & bright, and the larger size is great for us - big enough for books & balls & trucks & stuff.

But there's nothing supporting the bottom of the box, except a flimsy piece of fabric. Every, single time my little guy tries to pick up the bin, the bottom falls out & the sides collapse. These desperately need to be improved, with a piece of cardboard or fiberboard shaped & stitched on the bottom between two pieces of cloth.

They're okay if you're not going to move them around at all; but if you have a "helper" who likes to drag stuff around, these just don't cut it.

5Everything I expected  Apr 17, 2009
By Anne Joseph "Anne Joseph"
This is as cute as I expected it to be. The colors are very vibrant--this is a good thing. It is soft enough that I do not worry that my daughter's rough with it or around it.... and light enough that she can drag it around with her. I was concerned about how it would stay upright... the plastic clip. It took me a couple of days to figure out what the clips were for--it is to keep the box from collapsing. Simple but nice touch.

3The Bottomless Pit  Feb 08, 2011
By Kriss
Oh, how I wanted to love these fabric bins! The colors are bright & fun, and the medium size is great for the bajillion and six toy cars and blocks my son has collected.

But there's nothing supporting the bottom of the box, except a flimsy piece of fabric. Every, single time he tries to pick up the bin, the bottom falls out & the sides collapse. They desperately need to be improved, with a piece of cardboard or fiberboard shaped & stitched on the bottom between two pieces of cloth.

5entropy-containment device  May 17, 2010
By KilgoreTrout
So, we have toys. A lot of toys. Too many toys, some would say. And the toddler, he tends to spread the toys. So we needed a toy box. This one has been great. It's cute, I don't hate looking at it in our living room, it's actually pretty fun and cheery. The fabric sides mean that the toddler can reach into the box and easily grab what he wants (we have a plastic box elsewhere for...more toys...and that one is harder for him to negotiate). When we're leaving for work in the morning, I'm pretty happy with this box, as we're frantically throwing in all the toys so the dog doesn't eat them. This was a good purchase for us.
