This is a great product to keep drawers on dressers and other furniture closed. The drawers on my baby's dresser open and close easily, and now that she is pulling up and exploring, she slams her fingers shut in the drawers. Time to get another set! I used these successfully in my son's room until around age 2 and was able to remove them from the drawers without damage to the wood dresser.

These are great, but they only work on furniture or cabinets with square corners. If the edge of the furniture is rounded or decorative, these will not work.

These work wonderfully to lock drawers that have an available right corner. They were the easiest thing to install, right out of the box. The adhesive is very strong -- in fact, that may be a minus for you if you're applying these locks to something that you care about in the long run. We used them on cheap furniture that I know we'll end up replacing anyway. One of my locks came without adhesive -- I sent an email to Amazon and they had a brand new 4-pack sent to me right away at no charge. Wonderful customer service! It did take a couple tries to learn how use the lock quickly, but I'm now at the point where I can quickly open the drawer one-handed and my 11-month-old is still effectively locked out. I do access these drawers a lot. I do wish they came in more color options. I'm using these on dark furniture and the bright white of the lock definitely stands out.

I was very disappointed with these. They did not last a day on my dresser, will not buy again. At first i did not listen to the other bad ratings but i wish i did. Complete waste of money!

I am SO happy that I purchased these, despite the reviews. My son has a five drawer dresser and loves playing with it. He has already slammed his little fingers once and I intervened before he did it again. I needed something that would prevent him from getting into the drawers, but was still convenient for me if I was in a rush. These have been the perfect answer! Installed in a few seconds, they close automatically when you shut the drawer (if installed properly, otherwise you have to just make sure it is aligned when you close the drawer). No matter how much he pulls, he can't get it open and all I have to do is pull back the lever to open the drawer.
