very good--but not quite perfect... May 15, 2008
By Matthew G. Sherwin Regent Trade makes excellent dark wooden hangers with metal necks for storing your clothing properly while it's in your closet. These days it's harder and harder to find good quality wooden hangers; they seem to love making those inexpensive, cheaply made plastic hangers instead. Sigh. When I found these I was really thrilled!
These hangers are well constructed and they stand the test of time as I'm sure you will agree. The wooden hanger stays firm and resilient so that your clothing stays looking its best in your closet before you wear it. The middle pants bar also does a fine job of holding suit trousers in place; they hang down because the ridges on the pants bar really do keep the trousers or slacks in place.
My only gripe is that I wish that the shoulders were more curved so that they would conform to the natural cut of a suit jacket. I'll have to take off one star for this to make this a four star review.
Overall, I still highly recommend these dark wooden hangers as some of the better clothing hangers out there. These hangers may cost a little more unless they're on sale; but they're always worth every penny you'll spend on them. Wooden hangers protect your clothing far better than plastic hangers ever will.

quality at an affordable price. Jan 20, 2005

i was so impressed with the quality and low price..30 wood hangars for $17.99 that I tried to reorder but found they were discontinued so i bought a set of the light wood and was just as impressed. You'd spend 2-3x this in a specialty or department store. Have even considered giving them as a gift...new house...wedding...off to college. will definetly reorder from the same vendor.

Good wood is classy May 31, 2009

I was very annoyed with plastic hangers being too light-weight and the adjacent shirts falling off the closet bar when taking a dress shirt down. So I bought a 120 of these. The extra weight fixed the problem and they look really classy. The tops even swivel, so if you hang a garment the opposing direction from the rest of the items in the closet you can just spin the hook as opposed to re-hanging the garment. I'm a perfectionist and they're perfect.

Way better than cheap plastic hangers Jul 07, 2007

I felt it was time to toss out my 14 year old multi-colored plastic hangers (Well they looked kewl when I was 12) and buy these really nice looking dark stain wood hangers.
They look somewhat elegant and hold my clothes well. The hangers I have don't have a chemical smell at all, neither do they have plastic on them, so I really have no idea what some people are talking about.
I'm really happy with my purchase...

Love these hangers Jan 09, 2007
By KLK Strong, good looking and you don't have to hang them a certain direction like the shaped suit hangers. They take up less space and make my closet look great. I sent 2 sets to my parents and they love them too. We want more.
