Mega roll or smalllllllllll...... Jan 09, 2010
By D. MATHIAS
"Living in the REAL world..."
Reviewers seem to dislike the TP Roll falling off the end of this holder, or paper unraveling... I read that, and still bought it, by changing the install-scheme.... Simply mount the holder DIAGONALLY.... Not horizontal where roll falls into the floor when you tug on paper.... and Not vertical, where a fan or breeze will unwrap precious bounty.... DIAGONAL maintains perfect balance... Get this holder, you won't be disappointed with a DIAGONAL mount ... I installed the open end AWAY from me.... Holder can accomodate the Mega roll size or the tiniest roll of one square left.... New roll replacement is a breeze!... No fumbling with springs or putting the roller in the hole.... nope.... Simply slide a fresh roll on... Another point: Install uses two screws (included), so it will fit on a wall stud (the built 2 x 4 's that hold up a main wall frame)... I didn't need to reinforce a spot to place it ... Getting another one for my guest bathroom

Useful in tight spaces Sep 30, 2009
By Donald Smith We have a very small bathroom, and I wanted to put shelves over the toilet. Unfortunately, this did not leave enough room for the "spring loaded" toilet paper holder. That needed at least 10 inches of wall space. This holder has only once central mount, and was able to fit in the same location as the old holder without the same space requirement.
It does take a little "learning" to pull just a little paper without sending the roll spinning, but once you get that, you'll be fine.
My one negative experience with this is that our air conditioning blows directly on the roll, and because the two ends of the roll are not "enclosed" the breeze will slowly unravel the entire roll into the toilet bowl. :(
Pros:
* Good looking fixture
* Easy to install
* Small Footprint (can be used where you might otherwise need a floor stand.)
Cons:
* Subject to breezes (see above)
* Need to "learn" how to just get a couple sheets of paper.
**********
Final Thoughts:
A nice addition to any bathroom, elegant or utilitarian.

Works Fine Aug 31, 2008
By R. T. Appleby This item does the job it was designed to do. A word of caution, you need a solid structure to mount the holder to - 2x4 backing, etc.

I love this toilet paper holder Jul 12, 2007

This is a great, simple, elegant toilet paper holder. It mounts only in one place which makes it simple to mount to a single stud, and thereby make itself very sturdy. A little pricey, but, nice.

Nice overall, but don't forget it swings Apr 05, 2011
By Irene C Nice and modern design with a reasonable price point. We got the Danze faucets too so it matches nicely. My draw back is when you get toilet paper from it, the U shape bar swings back and forth. The smaller the roll gets the bigger the angle it swings, and the more it swings back and forth. It just keeps swinging when you pull the paper down, and have to hold the roll steady to tear off the paper. It gets a bit annoying. I wish it was stabilized, or at least the connection point was tighter so it doesn't swing so much.
