These knives work so well. They are sharp and easy to clean. I find myself reaching for them to cut everything. Amazing value for high quality product - I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

After using Victorinox's wavy blade steak knives for many years and being very satisfied, my wife and I looked for a set of new steak knives and bought these straight edged knives. They're very sharp and comfortable to use. Straight edged blades do indeed cut cleaner than wavy or serrated blades. Yes, they do need to be honed (quite often) on a sharpening steel to keep their edge, but that's how straight edged knives work. Hard to beat for the money.

This set is a recent purchase. Not supposed to go in the dishwasher, but they'll just have to get used to that. If they fall apart from frequent washings, at the price, they can be replaced. So far, there seem to be no problems with going through the dishwasher.
The knives have a nice size and weight with well shaped handles. Typical Cuisinart quality, which is to say, excellent.
A word of warning. These knives are very, very sharp! If you don't normally keep your kitchen knives in that condition, these will take some getting used to on your part.
Overall, an excellent value and seemingly an excellent product.

Best steak knife on the internet...very sharp...not serrated, so you can sharpen them...do not put in dishwasher because they WILL pit and stain...A+
