This is a great product. It easily holds 48 large spools of thread. One of the better qualities is that the matching bobbin can be placed in the same divider. A small spool of thread can be placed in the same divider as a large spool, increasing the number of spools the organizer will hold. The colors can be viewed through the sides before opening the organizer, so arranging by color groups saves time when looking for a specific color. The handle makes the organizer easy to grab and since each side is secure, thread does not spill out when one side is opened. My only complaint is that one of the organizers was damaged during shipping. However, this is not a problem with the product, only the vendor.

The tab broke off the cover the first time I opened it. I wanted to exchange it because I liked the case but the seller wanted me to pay for it. I would have rated this higher had the seller been willing to do an exchange without extra cost to me. It could have been a fluke that I got a defective one but I will never know. I would not buy from this seller again.

My son loved receiving this...he has LOTS of Matchbox cars, but some are more special than others. This storage case has been a great place to keep his prized cars. One of the lids did come off of the hinge, but it was easy to snap back into place.

I was using 2 clear Match Box car cases for all my spools of thread, but Matel no longer makes the product. This storage container is perfect for my continually growing collection. I love this product because it's clear plastic and I can easily view the thread through the lids. The containers stack nicely. The lids snap shut tightly so no chance of them opening on their own and spilling out the contents. I ordered two but will probably get an additional one since these are working out so well for me.

I have two of these to store my sewing and embroidery threads. It works perfectly as it has a handle and the threads stay dust-free. I do think the hinges on the covers are made so that they come off easily for display. It works where once you swing the cover all the way out you can lift it to unattach it from the case. I plan to buy more as my thread collection grows. These are great!
