This spoon rest works well because it is able to hold two spoons at a time. Even though the design is pretty because it matches my other Corelle dishware, I believe it could be cheaper.

This does feel more plastic than the material the seller says its made out of. I had smooth shipping! No delays or broken pieces(surprise!!) This is totally cute in person. Looks just like it does in the pictures! No reason you shouldn't buy this item. Its cheap and cute! I am MORE than positive that it will do its intended job.

It said it was made of melamine, and it could be my fault, but I didn't know that melamine (look it up on wikipedia) can be fire retardent when mixed with resins (basically this plate feels and looks like plastic). But it is pretty and does coordinate well with my dish set.
