NOT wood, arrived damaged, cheap materials Jan 08, 2011
By AP My husband and I opened the box expecting a WOOD table, as advertised, only to find a cheap-looking laminate that was DAMAGED!!! There is a crack on the top laminate panel, the laminate is starting to peel in places, and there are deep gauges in the bottom. All of the hardware is PLASTIC and the overall feel of the table is that it is cheaply made. The feet of the table are plastic and feel like they could snap at any moment - definitely cannot drag the table to move it. The plastic inserts that cover the feet (to prevent damage to your floor) don't fit for two of the feet!! I really don't know what to do now... the table is heavy and would be a terrible nuisance to ship back.
The only good thing I can say is that the design is awesome and the color of the laminate is nice. Modern with storage - perfect. If only this table would have come in wood, AS ADVERTISED, and without damage, I could concede about the hardware and just replace it with stainless or brushed nickel. Not sure about the feet and not sure where to go from here...

A great product!! misleading . . . Aug 10, 2011
By sk Some assembly required means- everything must be assembled. Wood means- Particle board with thin laminate. Shipping return will cost you 20% plus shipping to you and return shipping. All told- its a loss to return if you are unhappy with it. Quality is poor and no assembly instructions were included or available on the internet. Legs are plastic. Arrived well packaged, but still with scratch and dents. If you are looking for an inexpensive low table to store some items and do not plan to keep for more than 12-24 months . . . Might be a good option. Good in a dorm, or for a rental property. If you are looking for furniture that will last and in person looks like an adult might own it . . . i'd keep looking.

looks great, but... Dec 17, 2010
By mac The coffee table looks awesome, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired. However, for the price, I'm happy with this purchase.

not thrilled Jun 27, 2011
By lpdino Was very excited at first to receive this coffee table. An hour or so later, not so thrilled. Very difficult to put together, and what was even worse was that the parts were not the correct size. Ends did not line up which resulted in the doors not being about to close. The table came scratched, and overall was a hassle to deal with. The fact that we had an hour invested into putting it together, we decided to keep it. Very heavy, and the "metal" legs on which it rests on, are not metal, more plastic. To the untrained eye, it doesn't look back. But to us, a bad purchase.
