I use these to put in my lunch-bag. The box keeps them together and from getting mixed up with other cutlery. While they are lacquered like Chinese style chopsticks they are tapered like Japanese style chopsticks. Easy to use easy to clean and the tops are wide enough to put in the dishwasher cutlery tray without falling to the bottom of the washer during the wash cycle. They also make a great gift.

I purchased these for my 14 year old daughter who eats ramen EVERY day after school, and will only eat them with chopsticks. She thinks these are the coolest. Very pretty.

Not that I should have expected anything different, I guess, but these are just cheap plastic molded parts, both the box and the chopsticks.

I just got these chopsticks today and they are absolutley gorgeous I loved them so much I even got the matching bento. I would totally recommend these chopsticks.

This is a great product if you're just looking for an aesthetically pleasing set of chopsticks with a matching case. They're just plastic, so they're nothing special, but there's definately nothing wrong with them.
All of the packaging was in Japanese, so I'm not sure if they're dishwasher safe or not, so I just hand wash them to be safe.
