I REALLY LIKE THIS TOY BOX IT IS JUST THE SIZE FOR TODDLERS TO BE ABLE TO GET TOYS IN AND OUT AND I LOVE THE SAFTY FEATURE THAT KEEPS THE LID FROM CLOSING TO FAST SO THAT IT WILL NOT SLAM DOWN ON LITTLE FINGERS AND IT HELPS TO TEACH KIDS TO CLEAN UP.

Great toy box Jan 12, 2010
By G. J. Goodman My son is almost two, and he got this toy box for Christmas, he loves it! It is bright and fun.It is tough enough for him to climb on, slam the lid and throw his toys in there, so I say it is great to stand up to the kind of punishment my son gives it.

I purchased this toy box for my grandson and we both love it. My merchandise arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. I would definitely transact business with this seller again.

Cars Toybox Feb 02, 2010
By Barbara Jasper Bought my 2 yr old grandson an all Cars Christmas and we have to put them somewhere! Now hes learning to pick up his toys.

Sorry. I love rating non-toy items as toys simply because they have the word TOY in their name.
We have two of these toyboxes, a different print, but made by Delta, and IDENTICAL in construction.
I absolutely love it. The handles make moving it a breeze. It does have clearance underneath, so it's not dragging on the hard floor when my son gets it into his head that it needs to go over THERE so he can sit/stand on it and get into mischief. There is only one slow close hinge. CAUTION- enterprising youngsters will close it on various body parts, but whether it's curiousity or stupidity, I cannot say. Twice my son has sat on the corner, buried one foot in the toys inside, then pull the lid down slowly, and discovered that when he leans his elbows on top of the lid to pinch his thigh between the lid and the rim, it hurts! Lol. But the construction doesn't allow him to be hurt or injured in any significant way. It stands up to him standing on it, dancing on it, even sleeping on it(we had a tenuous few weeks when we switched to the big boy bed hehe). The sturdy slow close hinge was a bit difficult to put on, but my husband managed to do it right the second time he tried.
Capacity wise, it's a good size, certainly not the largest toybox out there, but our personal solution was to use this toybox for small toys and parts, and 2 big plastic bins in the closet for all the stuffed animals and huge trucks and sports equipment that he's managed to get in 2 years.
The only thing I would change about this would be some rubberization to the hinge. It does look big and bad, and might dent a forehead if it's met head on at full speed. But since our son spends more time dancing on it instead of digging in it, lol, that has been a nonissue for us. Kids will find a way to get hurt, even if they live in a plastic bubble. That's what kids do ;)
Overall, a GREAT product. I just wish Delta would sell customization items to make things match(our bed is Cars 1, the toybox is 2, the table is 1 but a different one, etc) Lol.
