I bought this pillow to go with another chenille pillow, but it really doesn't match because it's not really red, but rather HOT PINK. It's tough to see the true color when shopping online. I kept it since it my daughter liked the softness of the pillow, but it doesn't match the red in the other pillow we bought or the curtains & rug in the room.

The online picture did not do justice to this pillow - I honestly don't think males would like this too much. Don't know why - it just strikes me that way.

I bought this pillow and another one for my daughter's dorm room. I therefore didn't see the color, but she called it red (not hot pink). I think she would have mentioned if it were pink because she hates that color. I wanted to write a review because she said it is the softest thing she ever felt. "Like liquid" was her description. Was much admired by her dorm-neighbors as well. It shipped promptly and reached her quickly.

The pillow is pretty much exactly how it looks in the picture, color and all. I love it and it's really soft. I bought two in the red and two in black. I'm very satisfied!

"Amazon lover"
These pillows rock. Very soft to actually lay on and enjoy, but also pretty to have on your couch all the time.
