Love it Sep 17, 2010
By W. Marks Very well made, very nice looking, very large. I use it in a work bathroom where clients use hand towel (eco friendly office) and it is terrific. Not only does it look great but it is sturdy and well ventilated. Wish they made a smaller size for my upstairs bathroom.

Handsome unit for a utility room Apr 09, 2012

I bought this unit several months ago for my kitchen linens. I wanted a hamper that didn't look like it belonged in the bedroom or bathroom. It is wider in real life for the height than it looks in the picture accompanying this page. It is big! That's good, because it will hold an entire large-capacity washer-load of kitchen linens (or any load). Plus, you can lift the cotton liner out and toss it into the washer with the rest, or close it with the draw-string to carry to another floor, as I have to do.
Another reason I picked this unit was the drop hole in the top of the lid. It's wide enough to be handy for dropping dirty towels and washcloths in, or for stuffing larger items, and narrow enough that it does not look unlidded or incomplete. Perfect for my use.
I also like very much that it has air holes around the bottom. My linens never smell musty or icky, which is an important factor, since I have to keep the unit in my kitchen.
I picked white to match my pastel and white kitchen. The unit is also available in stainless steel, which I would have liked in a more modern decor.
This is a pricey unit, and I have not regretted the cost one minute. I researched hampers for several months, looking for just the right one, and did not find another anywhere that met all my needs as well as this one. In fact, every time I see it, which is several times a day, I'm glad I spent the money.
