Cute, little bench! Oct 06, 2010
By Holly Golightly Okay, you can't expect too much for $50, right? This isn't a heavy duty piece of furniture. But it works perfectly for us. We can actually fit our three little ones on it. This way I could get rid of 2 big chairs from around the kitchen table. It tucks right under when not in use. (Just make sure you measure your space first.) It does show fingerprints, but so does the rest of our furniture. It wipes clean, no problem. If you really want something super sturdy, you probably won't be thrilled with this. But if you just want something functional that you don't really care if your kids eventually destroy (through no fault of the furniture, of course) then it'll probably work for you, too. And it's only $50!
Looks good but is weak! Mar 19, 2011
By Carol It fell apart after my husband sat on it. I suppose you pay for what you get. And since it was only $60.00, that is what I got. My husband fixed it by adding some structure. So now it works as a piano bench for my very light child.

I got this bench for extra seating at those holiday family gatherings! It was such a reasonable price, I was worried about sturdiness, but it was great! It came very quickly and was easy to put together (even with the 7 yr old helping!) and held 2 adults with no problems. The rest of the time, it holds the kids backpacks in the foyer, and those probably weigh more than the 2 adults!
