I am very cold natured and have practically worn this blanket since purchasing it. It warms nicely, even on lower settings I'm comfortable. The only thing I would change is how easily the cord unplugs from the blanket. Sometimes just from my usual wiggling around in the chair I have managed to unplug the cord from the blanket! But, a quick replug and all is well.
The blanket is a nice soft snuggly fleece. My sunbeam blanket warming throw was thicker, but it quit working after only 2 uses and the warranty from sunbeam was worthless - send in at my cost and IF it wasn't my fault they would repair it. Whatever. This one has far exceeded my sunbeam throw.

In the past I have had several Sunbeam Electric Lap Blankets. They Never seemed to get warm at all. Needless to say I was very disappointed with them. My new Biddeford Electric Lap Blanket warms very well and is very cozy on those cold Winter Nights. The only complaint I have.....I wasn't able to get the color I wanted and had to
settle for another color. Other than that I am very happy with this Lap
Blanket and would purchase another again.

Gave this to my husband for Xmas 2009 and he/we really love it. I use it on his side of the bed since he is always cold and sometimes I turn it so just are legs are getting heated. Fantastic and it automatically shuts off after 10 hours. Great.
