Handy Helper Oct 10, 2007

"Little Chili"
[[ASIN:B000FL1KNA Corner Sink Strainer - (Stainless Steel)] - I chose this product because I eat raw foods and have a lot of vegetable scraps. I throw them into the corner sink strainer and then into the compost bin. I like this particular style strainer because it is easy to keep clean and fits neatly into the corner of my sink. The last strainer I had was round and made of screen wire and looked nasty after a while. The corner sink strainer is easy to keep looking new and clean. I am happy!

A better alternative to plastic Mar 10, 2009
By Joancat This item is easy to keep clean by scrubbing (unlike the plastic counterparts) and it looks great in the corner of my metal sink. And hopefully it will last a lot longer than the plastic ones which get really nasty and then you want to throw them out...

SS sink strainer Apr 08, 2011
By M. Lamanno This is the second one I've purchased (different homes). They are virtually indestructible and very easy to clean and decontaminate(dishwasher or chlorinated cleanser). That is of paramount importance to me. Of additional importance is that the vegetative contents are easy to spray off into the composter; much more so than the plastic strainers which will eventually delaminate making cleaning impossible.

Poor quality Jul 10, 2011
By Dawne Miller I purchased a similar strainer last year, and it was a heavier gauge metal and had heavy rubber "feet" that kept it raised out of the sink so that water could flow under it. This one is very light weight, and has no feet - only indentations punched from the inside of each corner. It works okay, but last year's was better quality.

Stainless sink strainer Jul 09, 2011
By NancyT2U I compost so this is a must have item. I had an old plastic one that I used for years. When It became stained and wouldn't get clean in the dishwasher I looked for stainless instead. This is perfect for my needs and cleans well too. I recommend it for anyone that sorts their garbage or doesn't use a disposal. It can also be used to drain almost anything as it is so easy to clean.
