This is a beautiful platter. It's not very heavy and easy to clean. It makes a great presentation for the holidays!

Photo does not due this item justice, because it is upside down, and you can not see the turkeys face and beautiful black stone eye. I love this item. I have Thanksgiving place settings, but no turkey platter and this was the answer. This kept things from being to matchy match. I just mix it with my Autumn Monarch plates and some of my grape Arthur Court Servware for a casual but elegant Thanksgiving table setting.
