My Wonderful Christmas Present Jan 18, 2012

For 45 years, I have received a unique angel as a Christmas present. The tradition was started by my parents, and I now have angels of every size and description. Family and friends have also given me angels as gifts from time to time. In 2008, my parents both died within three months of each other, and my daughter resolved, that Christmas, to take over for them in giving me an angel each year. Last Christmas, she decided to narrow down what she would give me to angels that have more in common with the Biblical descriptions of angels and gave me my first male angel. This year she looked hard for my second Biblical angel and was thrilled to find this marvelous statue of Michael the Archangel. I would love to know who the artist is because it is by far the best and most exciting representation I've seen. He is powerful, realistically done (see the wings!) and beautiful, and really gives you the feeling of God's power and love manifested in one of His most glorious creations. I just love looking at him every day because he brings home to me God's love for His people, His protection, and His eventual victory over wrong. A big thank-you to my daughter and Amazon (and to the artist, whoever he or she is!) Even though the statue is cold-cast resin, it really does look like bronze and would be a marvelous addition to any home where angels are welcome!

A wonderful piece. The angel is very tall and majestic (as he stands fearlessly to ward off any preditors) and you need a great place to display it. Out of all the angels in my collection, I like this one best.
