It is very thick glass so it is durable and stays in place in the door of the fridge. It also washes up in the dish washer nicely.

Good, decent butter dish.
You have to take about a second of your time to center a regular-sized stick of butter onto the dish or the sides of the lid may smoosh it a bit.
Careful of that lid, too. Mine arrived with a tiny nick in it that could cut. That, however, is more of a packaging issue than a product issue.
The price was entirely reasonable for the quality of the product.

I like a clear glass butter dish but they are hard to find. This one is nice, thick glass but it is unfortunately small. The long, skinny sticks of butter fit in it just fine but the shorter, fatter ones have a tendency to touch the sides. It mars the appearance of the glass but doesn't affect the function terribly.

I was looking for a simple inexpensive butter dish to replace the one broken by my dog. This one is a mite small and does squish the corners of the butter but it does the job. If you have twenty bucks or so to spend buy a better butter dish. If not you'll find this one to be adequate.

This butter dish does the job. If it was much larger it would be hard to carry. I'm very impressed with it. I have been using it for about 6 months now.
