Item was as described, however do that I was using this outside, the only part of the item that wasn't stainless was the screw hardware. I just used outdoor deck screws.

I love look of this item, well built , real stainless steal. Will work great if your towel hang on it while you wipe your hands. It's not very wide so can be use for hand towels only. But if you pull your towel from it it just swings back and hit the ceramic tile on the wall which can course crack or chip one day.

My master bathroom cabinets are mission style, and I wanted bathroom hardware that complimented the cabinets. I particularly wanted "square" towel rings. This towel ring is just what I was looking for. The size of it holds a hand towel or washcloth very well, and love that I didn't have to settle for the traditional "oval" ring. I did see another square towel ring at about 4 times the cost of this one. This is a great product, very substantial looking, at a good cost.

I wanted a rectangular shaped towel ring to mimic the rectangular sink. This one had the shape I was looking for without spending a lot of $$$. Another factor was the profile - it sticks out from the wall less than most towel rings. My sconces and faucets are brushed nickel and I was concerned whether stainless steel would blend in. The stainless steel is shinier, brighter and lighter in color than the brushed nickel fixtures, but since the towel rings aren't right next to the fixtures, they look OK. The towel ring is very sturdy, and was easy to install.
