Uncomfortable, low quality Mar 17, 2010
By Greg Ghodsi This product looks like its picture and arrived quickly, but the cushion is thin with a flimsy fabric cover, making it an uncomfortable seat. I bought it for our kids' use in our den, but I definitely would not recommend it for adults because of the comfort factor.

playroom futon Nov 22, 2010
By Darla Schrodt I hesitated to buy this because of other reviews complaining of missing parts and cheap construction. However, it came with all the necessary hardware, was very easy to assemble ( no modifications required, unlike other "cheap" stuff I have purchased), and fits my needs perfectly. We use it in the kids' playroom and our basset hound likes it as a bed. I was also happy to find that there is a back rest support bar so that the back cushion when used as a love seat won't fall behind the couch. Pretty decent quality for just over two hundred bucks.

too light weight for real people Jul 15, 2010
By Elizabeth Hartzell I began to purchase this futon - no, to purchase two of these for my daughter's apartment. They seemed so attractive with the colorful options, ease of moving them, etc. Then, I read the "load limit"......and it says 250#.....that sounds like a lot of weight until you consider that a couple could want to snuggle on this to watch t.v. and she might weigh 120# and he 190# and....well.....the thing might collapse or get bent out of shape. It just doesn't seem worth even the low price when you can't have two rather normal adults sit on it unless they both weigh under 125#!!

So far so good Jun 04, 2011
By MLfan07 I bought this because I have a really small apartment, and even most of the loveseats I've looked at have been too long. I've only had it for a few days, but so far I'm enjoying it and it's suiting my needs. Hopefully it will hold up over time. As usual with Amazon, my purchase arrived much earlier than the estimated date, even with it coming from across the country. Can't beat the shipping for free either, which would be over $50 if I bought it from somewhere else. It was very easy to put together. The one I got didn't come with any 'wood slats' although it mentioned them in the instructions, but I read a review that said they broke easily anyway so I wasn't upset over it. I've had futons before so I know that with time the metal criss crossing of the frame starts to dig into the cushion and be uncomfortable, so I utilized the cardboard packaging it came in, cutting it to size and putting it under the cushion. Simple fix.

Mali Flex Futon Oct 17, 2010
By Brenda Jones

This futon started out okay, but after a few months the frame broke and I had to purchase something else from another retailer. We must have gotten a defective futon. I just threw it out and we keep the mattress for company. Bad purchase on my part. Thanks
