Holds lg. ladle + several implements Jan 06, 2007
By chef's mom Good for canning to keep several tools upright, handy and out of the way of all the equipment involved.
However short spoons don't reach the horizontal wire support and have t/b laid flat or left in tasting bowl.
It is unobtrusive and looks nice on or near the stove.

Does the job Jul 23, 2008
By LawyerMom Very happy with this spoon rest, it saves me space on the counter! The generous cup size allows to fit several utensils. I would definitely get this spoon rest if your cooking utensils have large handles (as the hook at the top allows for ample space to hold them).
However, I actually prefer the Orka Spoon Rest, Blue, (which is also available in raspberry and black colors) since the cup actually is deeper than the one on the Amco. As a result, it's a little easier to balance upright utensils and to just drop it in the spoon rest without taking the extra second to position it just so, so that it doesn't fall out. Also, the Orka's cup is removable, unlike the Amco's, so that you only have to clean the cup, rather than putting the entire spoon rest into the dishwasher (but this is stainless steel, so I like that I could do it when I have the room).

good idea, but too tall Nov 08, 2010
By Paul Good idea for a spoon rest, but too tall for some silverware. "C" part on top of lean bar needs to be about 1" lower. Also, mass manufactured, so not perfectly symmetric; a little sloppy. Recommend buying from a store so you can look at many of them and pick the best one.

Great spoon rest Oct 25, 2008
By Lawrence Brown works great for everything. Its actually a bit shorter and fatter than it appears in the picture but works very well for all sorts of things, keeps the mess off the stove and keeps foods from mingling on the spoons

Handsome Oct 14, 2008

This spoon rest is a handsome addition to my modest kitchen. Oddly, people keep asking me what it is. Not for homes with 24-inch or smaller stoves.
