Ugly, but they work Apr 11, 2011

They are ugly, but my kids have figured out every other safety latch except for these. My son, who is autistic, likes to raid for snacks at 2 or 3 in the morning. These help keep him out of the cabinets.

We used this with our oldest and it's still keeping little people out five years later! LOVE it! We use it on a sliding closet door and are buying two more for other areas. NEVER had a problem. Enjoy!

I actually purchased this item to prevent my cat from "dumpster diving", I can't tell you if it ever worked to keep him out because it never attached to the can. I cleaned the surface of the can as directed and followed the directions, but the product was not flexible at all and it failed to attach to the can-it had ZERO sticking power. Maybe if I had purchased this for wood, I could have used the screws, but that option didn't meet my needs. Unless you plan on screwing it onto your cabinets, I wouldn't suggest this product.

These do not stick well to my cabinets. They popped right off my counter. I bought similar locks that came in a 2 pack and were half the price and wish I would have never bought these. I do give 3 stars because at lease it does keep my son out of my dishwasher, however I still had to use a second lock....

I bought this to lock a corner Lazy Susan cabinet, which is what it is advertised to do. The slightest pressure on the cabinet pops the lock and pinches little fingers! It makes it even more pinch-able because it created a false sense of security. I definitely would not recommend this product for this use.
