Beautiful and Practical Jan 02, 2011
By Patricia LaCerva
"Patricia LaCerva"
I purchased these (5 prs.) because I already knew that one of my guests was a Chinese student. He was really happy when I told him he could take his pair of chopsticks back to his dormitory. (He remarked on their shape and texture and seemed to regard them as something really precious so I was glad I went to the trouble of getting them.) Also, I'm glad to have the other four pairs on hand because my thirteen-year-old grandnephew loves to eat with chopsticks! The next time he visits, I will prepare a simple stir-fry and give him a very nice souvenir to take home with him.

Very nice Gift Apr 07, 2011
By buybot181 These were a gift for a friend.
The chopsticks are good quality and function as well as the individual who grips it.
They arrived in an aesthetically pleasing black box. The presentation inside the box is really simple yet beautiful.
Each pair is wrapped with a metallic looking wrapper, which I think adds a nice touch.
The chopsticks have a durable protective coating/finish which should be preserved by hand washing only.
The spiral shape is very, very cool.

Very nice set. Elegant and simple. Sep 18, 2011
By -Joe I had to look over the product page a few times to see what everyone else was whining about. No there isn't a "gift box", just a bunch of very nice looking and functional chopsticks. That is what I wanted, that is what I got, and for the price I couldn't be happier. The only problem I am having is condensing my silverware tray to give the chopsticks their own spot :D

Meh... Dec 06, 2010
By ununjak911 The item is not packaged in this nice box set(as in the photo), but rather individually in cheap plastic transparent envelopes (ie, what paintbrushes come in). The photo shown matches chopsticks I received as a gift recently and I wished to have more to match. They look the same, it is true, however, these chopsticks are incredibly light in weight. All in all, however, they seem to be holding up decently so I have no qualms in purchasing them.

Made in China Jul 15, 2010
By mee The package is Japanese, but it's actually made in China. Since it works well, it doesn't matter though. Design is simple and cool!
