The pitcher is a nice heavy plastic, but that's where the 'good' ends. The threads are odd so the lid never really seems right - leaks every time, and the pour spout is ALWAYS off to one side. That drove me NUTS! No matter how I tried to line it up it was never in the front of the pitcher. Annoying! Makes you have to hold it at a wierd angle trying to pour. Then there's the hollow handle... even a baby bottle brush won't get in there right to clean it and if you make iced tea alot it gets GROSS after awhile. Not recommended, won't buy again.

I bought these containers to make iced tea as I no longer drink soda. I needed
something that could be filled with water, iced tea mix and then shook to mix
everything well without it going all over the place. These containers are great.
Yes the top can be a little difficult to get on at first but they do go on fine.
Since iced tea usually stains I clean the containers with a little baking soda
and warm water. You just have to let them soak for a few minutes, that's all.
They are great. Would definitely order them again!

Once again, I could get just as good quality at the dollar store. No matter how I put the cap on the spout just wouldn't line up straight. I'm surprised at Rubbermaid, they're slipping. Cost too much to buy this way, if all the items I ordered came from the same vendor and had been sent at the same time then I might of thought it worth it. But everything came separately, posted at different times to my checking account and took way too long to arrive.

Hard to clean, and the cap won't stay open when I pour. Ended up tossing it out when it got too grimy in the hard-to-clean nooks.

I bought 2 of these pitchers thinking I can easily mix crystal light in them and because of the 1 gallon capacity. They're good to mix powdered drinks, but you can forget having a clean fridge. No matter what I do, they leak from the cap. I've gotten new caps, new gaskets, wrenched them down nothing will fix them. I'm constantly wiping my fridge down, and the iced tea has stained my white shelves. I'm currently looking for another option.
